Gregory S. Smith LCSW, M.Div.,
is the Program Director for Mercer Council’s ASYSST (Available School Youth Service Support Team) School Based Youth Service Program at Ewing High School. This program encourages students to make responsible decisions, navigate successfully through high school and pursue further education. He oversees the program, provides programmatic and clinical supervision to staff , serves as the liaison to the school and SBYSP. He is a graduate of Rutgers University where he received both his BSW and MSW degrees, and Princeton Theological Seminary where he obtained his M.Div. in 2015.
He has a thirty plus year history in the field of social work, having served as a medical social worker and overseer of several other youth services programs. He also serves as a clinical supervisor privately and for several other mental health programs and is pastor of a local congregation.
Gregory is married, a father of 5 and grandfather of 2. He enjoys traveling, history, “anything old”, Law and Order marathons, his cat “Baby” and flea markets.
