Our 2022 Annual Impact Report
Dear Friends,
We are happy to report that as we move forward in 2023, we are blazing new trails while maintaining our core values and traditions. We are pursuing new funding to develop the breadth of our work and deepen our impact within the community. We are proud of our accomplishments and longevity as we look to our upcoming 45th anniversary in the fall of 2023. We are focused on developing and strengthening our staff and board members to continue supporting our community by implementing research-based programs, creating system-wide changes, and providing tools that empower our community to make healthy, safe, and responsible choices.
Growth and change help us evolve and, more importantly, help us keep up with our community's needs. We hired our new enthusiastic, and highly motivated Executive Director, Margarita Leahy. We created a new community engagement position. This new team member will support and strengthen awareness of our essential work. We expanded the board to include three new members with impressive backgrounds. We are grateful for our new and long-term board members who continue to support Mercer Council's mission. We have internally promoted several hard-working and loyal staff members.
Although the world has just moved through a pandemic, we have been able to pivot, adjust, strengthen, and grow our organization. We invite you to view our annual report and see all that we have been able to accomplish. We sincerely thank our funders, community partners, supporters, staff, and community members for continuing this journey with us!
