ASYSST Happenings for February 2021

This February, the ASYSST Team at Ewing High School, is hosting some fun, virtual activities.

Every day, a new post is shared with the students featuring a summary about a prominent/influential African American individual and their contribution to history. We are also hosting a virtual "movie party" every Friday which features a film, selected by students, that shares the story of an African American individual(s) or was directed by an African American producer, etc.  Lastly, the ASYSST Team is hosting the "I Have A Dream" writing challenge that gave students the opportunity to think about what they would say to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., if he were still alive today, in honor of the late Dr. King Jr's birthday.

The ASYSST Team hopes these small acts of sharing knowledge and stories can be a part of a bigger journey to continue the celebration of African American individuals.
