Campfire NJ Celebrates the Work of Mercer Council's Very Own, Barbara Sprechman

Last night, I was privleged to have attended Campfire NJ's 19th annual Golf Outing Fundraiser.  Campfire is a wonderful organization that serves the youth of our communities in a variety of ways.  Because of their dedication to and passion for shaping our youth, they deserve to be supported and celebrated.  It was a beautiful evening, surrounded by people who understand the importance of the tireless work that many of our community partners do, day in and day out, who were compelled to give back, in order for Campfire to continue their meaningful work.  The event was even more special for us at Mercer Council, because Campfire selected our very own, Barbara Sprechman, Assistant Director of the Council and Coordinator of the Prevention Coalition of Mercer County, as their annual Community Champion, a great honor!  Barbara was recognized and celebrated for her dedication to prevention and for being a leader in our community in the coordination of many of the county's prevention activities.  We are so lucky to have Barbara Sprechman with our agency over the past 8 years and have benefited and continue to benefit from her 30 years of experience in the field.  We thank Campfire NJ for being such a valued presence in our community as well as a community partner that we truly cherish.
