Mercer Council takes part in the Mercer County Bike Drive on April 10, 2021

Bike-Drive-3

Mercer Council would like to thank Mercer County and the Park Commission for having Vanessa DeRosa, PYPM Program Coordinator, join them at a Bike Drive they hosted at several locations throughout the county on April 10, 2021. Bicycles were accepted (no matter the condition) and were transported to the Trenton Bike Exchange (located in Ewing, NJ). There, they will be fixed by volunteers and then sold to the public for a low price. Proceeds from the sale of the bikes will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Mercer County. It was a successful event with a total of close to 400 bicycles being donated! We at Mercer Council feel honored to have been part of this momentous event and given the opportunity to distribute our substance misuse prevention resources and promotional items to community members!
