Stronger Together! Mercer Council's 2nd Annual Benefit Luncheon & Silent Auction 2019
Mercer Council was moved by the generosity of community members in attendance at our 2nd Annual Benefit Luncheon and Silent Auction, held on September 24, 2019, at the Stone Terrace by John Henry's in Hamilton, NJ. Various sectors of the community contributed to this event, including Luncheon attendees, donators, special guest speakers, dignitaries and sponsors. Proceeds from this event benefit The Geetha Arulmohan Scholarship Fund, which seeks to support those beginning or continuing their education in the field of counseling, social work, mental health, substance related challenges, public health, recovery support, etc., by awarding scholarships to help offset their expenses. Speakers consisted of Jocelyn Cooper (Executive Director, Mercer Council), Lance Liverman (Mercer Council Board), Leanna Fenneberg (Mercer Council Board), Mike Rothwell (President, Pennington Quality Market), and Shalieka Jarrett (Vice Principal, Ewing High School), who each shared about their experiences with Mercer Council's various programs and the positive impact they have made in the Mercer County community. Stone Terrace by John Henry's provided a delicious lunch and attendees participated in a silent auction bidding to win beautifully arranged baskets, charitably donated by our sponsors.
Mercer Council wants to send a big thank you to all those who supported this important cause and made this day a wonderful sucess. We are truly stronger together!
Stay tuned for more photos of this beautiful event!
