Purple Perfection Smoothie (submitted by Isabelle)
List of ingredients: Milk, Frozen blueberries, Baby Spinach, Banana, Hemp, Chia Seeds, Flax seeds, Almonds
Cooking Steps: 1. In a blender place 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries, 3 table spoons of almond nuts, 1/2 cup of spinach, 1/2 a banana, 2 teaspoon of hemp seeds, 1 teaspoon of chia seeds, 1 teaspoon of flax seeds and 3/4 cup of 2% Milk. 2. Blend at medium speed for 20 seconds or until smooth 3. Pour into a cup and enjoy
Marble Cake (submitted by Vanya)
List of ingredients: 1)Refined oil( 1/2 cup) 2)Powdered sugar(1/2 cup) 3)All-purpose flour/multi grain flour (1 cup) 4)Baking soda (1 Teaspoon) 5)Baking powder(1/2 Teaspoon) 6)Milk(room-temprature)(1 cup) 7) Hershey's chocolate powder( optional) (1 tablespoon) 8)Vanilla essence(optional)(1/2 Teaspoon)
Cooking Steps: *Before making the cake make sure to preheat the oven to 180º f for 10 minutes. 1)Mix Refined oil and powdered sugar till dissolved. 2)Add Vanilla essence. 3)Add 1/2 cup milk. 4)Add the dry ingredients. (the flour, baking soda, and baking powder- Make sure to swift it before adding to the wet ingredients.) 5)Mix well. 6)Add the other 1/2 cup of milk slowly. ( if too thick add a little more milk.) 7)Divide the batter into half. 8)Add the chocolate powder into one half. 9)Then butter and dust the pan, Next when the pan is dusted add a bit of the vanilla batter in the middle of the pan( make sure to spread it out) then add some of the chocolate batter in the middle of the vanilla batter. Repeat till either the pan is full or you run out of batter. Then take a toothpick and make 8 equal parts in the batter. 10)Put in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. Enjoy!
It's Peanut Butter Time No bake granola bars (submitted by Gionna)
List of ingredients: 1 cup of peanut butter, 1.5 cups of oats, 1/2 to 3/4 cup of Agave, 1 cup dried cranberries, 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips
Cooking Steps: 1. Line a 9x9 baking pan with parchment paper 2. In a large bowl combine the oats, dried cranberries and both sets of "chips" 3. In a microwave safe bowl combine the peanut butter and agave together, melt for 30 seconds stir to make sure items are mixed 4. Combine the melted mixture into the dry mixture, mix well 5. Transfer the mixture into the lined parchment pan, press down tightly an evenly(make it compact) 6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate(freeze if you like for a shorter time) for about 3 hours(or until firmed to your liking) 7. Remove from refrigerator cut into bars and serve 8. Enjoy!
